This Privacy Policy applies specifically to the Users of the Ghosty application (those who download the app and create an account).

If you are a Caller (an individual who has placed a call to a Ghosty User), your data is processed differently. We provide a separate notice for Callers that explains this processing and your rights. You can find this notice here.

We act as the controller of your personal data under EU/UK GDPR and other applicable laws.

2. What Data We Collect

When you use Ghosty, we process the following categories of personal data:

• Account Data: your phone number, name
• Call Metadata: incoming caller number, call time, call duration.
• Device & Network Data: IP address, device push notification tokens
• Ephemeral Audio and Transcript Data: To create a summary, a Caller's live audio stream is processed in real-time to create a temporary text transcript. This audio and transcript data exists only for the immediate duration of the processing. It is never stored, and is permanently and irretrievably deleted the moment the Call Summary is generated.
